AURELIUS acquires shirt manufacturer EINHORN

The Munich based industrial holding AURELIUS acquires the Swabian traditional company Zeeb & Hornung GmbH & Co., owner of the renowned shirt brand „EINHORN“. The shirt manufacturer based in Kirchentellinsfurt near Reutlingen currently realizes a turnover of approximately EUR 25m with about 85 employees.

 

The company, which was founded more than eighty years ago, sells high-quality and stylish shirts according to the slogan „passion for shirts“ and since this year again also exclusive women blouses. In addition to the brand „EINHORN“ there are well-known brands under license, amongst others the aspiring designer label 0039 Italy. EINHORN does not keep its own place of production but is specialized in the sectors of design/development of collection, quality management (own laboratory), marketing/brand management and sales.

 

„We want to bring the traditional brand „EINHORN“ again to a broader group of buyers“, says Donatus Albrecht who is responsible at AURELIUS for the acquisition of the company. „The existing business relations should be stabilized. Furthermore we pursue a profitable growth strategy, for instance through the market launch of the new EINHORN women collection”, so Albrecht. “The realization of these and other aims belongs to the core competences of AURELIUS“.

The company has been owned until today from two families. They sell the company within a succession process.
